Which are the Finest Spanish Olive Oils?

Hint: The Best Olive Oils Win International Awards

Every year the best Olive Oil producers take their best Extra Virgin Olive Oils to International Competitions. The best of the best win the “Awards” the world over- they portray the pinnacle of what the world has to offer, and they represent only a tiny proportion of the total Olive Oil production. Just like superlative wines, these olive oils, each with its own characteristics, will impregnate your sensorial memory with simphonies of unique aromas and tastes that once you have tried them you will never forget. Spain is the largest Olive Oil producer in the world with about 40% of the total world production and, thus, has the largest share of the Award-Wining olive oils of the word

These Award-Winning Olive Oils are difficult to find in gourmet shops, and nearly impossible in local supermarkets. We have selected a representative sample of the best Award-Winning Olive Oils from Spain that you can find in Amazon. In no specific order, we list them here below

OLIVEANDGOURMETI love healthy food, it can be of any type, from classical Mediterranean to Asian and any fusion in between. I like to reformulate old recipes with healthy ingredients, like using certain vegetables instead of meat, new combinations of healthy spices and changing the fat composition from “bad” fats to my favorite fresh Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
